RACE DAY #3

I really got to get some pictures up - it was a stellar day on the water today!!! I need to show you how great it is!

So onto the racing.... unfortunately Ken & I forgot to bring our brains. We did not sail smart today - although our mechanics of sailing were pretty good. Just did not make the best decisions & had (again) upwind height problems.... We remained consistent with our 7th place finishes until we unfortunately had a bad start in our last race & were continually playing catch up.  So we took "8th" which is LAST.  We are sitting tied on points with another team but due to the number of places - we are sitting at the bottom of the tie.

Lesson learned today - time on the water pays off. We are sailing against some really good teams - all of which have been together for longer than us.

Best part of the day - we had a dolphin playing off our bow for about 10 minutes while sailing in.

Tomorrow is another day - we are only 1/2 through the regatta - so we can still have some good days!!!!
